The Fit Effect, Paris
The Fit Effect is a premier health and fitness club located at the North-end of Paris, Ontario. RYSER was asked to implement an 8 camera surveillance system to allow the owner to keep an eye on the staff and property from anywhere using his mobile device. RYSER implemented the system efficiently and economically which also simplified business management and enhanced property security. RYSER was then tasked with upgrading network infrastructure and implementing battery backups and redundant internet connections which drastically increased IT performance and reliability. Since then RYSER has expanded the surveillance system at the gym to 16 cameras, enabling the business to provide safe and secure 24/7 operation. Most recently RYSER was asked to implement a digital sign to enhance the unique atmosphere of the gym and promote its products and services. RYSER delivered a highly scalable and extremely reliable digital signage solution equipped with cloud management to allow updates at anytime from anywhere. RYSER continues to provide 24/7 technical support on all services and solutions implemented.
Jordem Inc., Paris
Jordem provides accounting solutions to clients throughout Southwestern Ontario. RYSER was brought in to upgrade the network, server and workstations to address concerns around performance, security and reliability. RYSER proposed and implemented a robust solution consisting of high performing equipment from industry leaders: Cisco, Watchguard, and Dell. Utilizing both dedicated hardware and software firewalls as well as VPN tunneling RYSER was able to provide a highly secure network with the flexibility to accommodate remote and mobile access to critical data. By harnessing virtualization RYSER was able to consolidate multiple workstations into a single machine to enhance performance and reliability while lowering TCO and energy consumption. RYSER implemented Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services to enhance network security and simplify management and policy enforcement. Since then RYSER has implemented secure wireless internet access, as well as secure cloud backup and Microsoft Exchange email services. RYSER continues to provide 24/7 technical support on all services and solutions implemented.
Cobblestone Public House, Paris
Located downtown Paris, Ontario the Cobblestone provides an unforgettable pub and casual dining experience. RYSER was asked to implement a reliable, economical surveillance system to secure key points of the multi-level building and replace an undependable wireless surveillance system. RYSER proposed and implemented an analog surveillance system with network capability to allow the owner to access live camera feeds and recordings remotely, including from their mobile device. As part of the implementation, RYSER re-designed and configured network equipment for optimal performance and security, installed a battery backup unit to increase uptime and identified security concerns around guest WiFi access. Despite challenges with the building layout and running cable, RYSER successfully installed the proposed surveillance system while staying within budget. RYSER was then asked to address the security concerns with the guest wireless internet access. Through reconfiguring existing network equipment RYSER was able to create a separate and secure guest wireless network. RYSER continues to provide 24/7 technical support on all services and solutions implemented.
IQ Tax & Bookkeeping Service, Paris
Providing personalized tax and bookkeeping services to customers throughout Brant County, IQ Tax & Bookkeeping Service requested RYSER to conduct a review of their network security and continuity. RYSER identified key areas for improvement and provided an action plan to reduce the risk of unauthorized network access, increase network uptime, and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity. Through upgrading firmware and reconfiguring network equipment, including configuration of a separate and secure wireless network, RYSER was able to substantially raise network security. Additionally, the implementation of an organization-wide password policy aided in limiting the possibility of a data breach. Network uptime was improved by installing a dedicated battery backup for network infrastructure. Lastly, a compliance-driven cloud backup solution was deployed to protect critical business data and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity. Since then RYSER has implemented secure, hosted, Microsoft Exchange email service to enhance business communications and collaboration. RYSER has also provided network wiring and moving assistance with relocating and setting up network equipment. RYSER continues to provide 24/7 technical support on all services and solutions implemented.
